Practice / Software architecture

Design for delivery. Build for change.

Good architecture connects intent, design, implementation, and evidence. It makes systems understandable today and adaptable tomorrow.

From requirements to architecture

I start by clarifying the problem, constraints, stakeholders, and expected outcomes. Decomposition should produce independently testable and deployable units of work with clear acceptance criteria.

Analysis and design artifacts are valuable when they improve shared understanding and remain connected to the work being delivered.

Services, APIs, and system boundaries

I work across full-stack application architecture, from frontend experiences and integration patterns to Java and Spring Boot services, APIs, and cloud-native systems. Effective boundaries balance ownership, operational simplicity, integration needs, and long-term maintainability.

API design, data models, security boundaries, and failure handling deserve attention before they become expensive production problems.

Quality built into delivery

Architecture is not complete at design review. CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, security controls, traceability, and observability turn architectural intent into measurable delivery practices.

Quality gates should produce useful evidence without becoming bureaucracy. Teams need feedback early enough to act on it.

AI-assisted and specification-driven engineering

I am exploring agentic engineering workflows in which AI tools assist with decomposition, analysis, design, and implementation while artifacts and reviews preserve traceability.

The goal is not simply faster code generation. It is better-defined work, stronger engineering evidence, and more reliable outcomes.
